This particular Ethnography assignment was perhaps the most interactive as far as gaining experience in analyzing and triangulating various qualitative and quantative data. Also, the ethnography paper allowed me to explore my own career interests in a manner that open my eyes to the realities of occupational and work sub/cultures. In addition, the assignment has also taught me how to use a format of writing that is often used in writing 200+ page papers, a very important skill moving forward as a scholarly writer.
In the following, I have listed the various scaffold components of the Ethnographies of Work II (EoW II) Final Research Paper. The different sections are viewable both in doc files and in the subsections of this collapsible page:
My informant was a professional painter, Dorothy Robinson, who has a studio in the Brooklyn Army Terminal.
