The lobby was very big, has a lot of shape. When I looked around I saw beige, brown and gold paint on the walls and the floors were also beige. Their were two stair cases both on the left and right side of the room. Under the stair case on the right side there was a cafe . When you enter the library right in front of the entrance there's a gift shop. I didn't look around because when I went I was just focusing on the people and what they were doing. I didn't pay attention to what was around me. Next time I'm going to look for a secret that I can share with the class. I did notice that the lobby's real name is Astor Hall people probably didn't notice it because people just automatically believed its a lobby because that's where they enter. People usually just go to what they are looking for not really stay and look.

The Graybar Building Rats

The grayvar building rats is located in Lexington Avenue between 43rd and 44th street. This place has been there since the 1920's. Nobody had knew that the rats were on the bars above the front door. Around the 1930's was when a New Yorker saw the rats on those bars. The article says that those rats are there because they are up to no good.I don't understand why this is a secret. Why are these rats so important and why are they there? I really don't find this interesting because I just don't understand the point, like if I was the one who noticed it I wouldn't get excited. The reason why is because its just rats they aren't important and I don't like them.I wouldn't go to the place just to see the rats: my reaction would be like okay great this building got rats. Maybe someone would find this interesting but I just wouldn't understand why. Also I don't think people would notice because people usually don't look at how a building is and what is on it.
