I am a senator of Guttman Community College SGA. I am a 100 percent committed to my role as senator because I am seen as a communicator and representative of the student body. This activity is most meaningful to me because it allows me to advocate for the student body and improve students’ college experiences. I enjoy being a senator because it helps me develop leadership skills as well as make changes for present and future college students. The best perk of being senator is it allows me to inspire others to advocate for change as well and develop my own leadership skills. I am able to witness individuals raise their voices for something they are passionate about.
