                                                 Reflection

My time at Guttman Community College is coming to an end which is both sad and excited at the same time. I hate that I have to leave because I love being a student at Guttman. Everyone at the college is very nice and supported of each other. However I am excited because it time to grow and embrack on a new journey. But finding that new journey is a challenge. I am in the process of researching different college to see which one fits me. I created about 5 to 7 different list of colleges that I might want to transfer to and finally I came up with a list of school I like to transfer to.

I decide to apply to CUNY school like Hunter, Lehman, City College as a back up plan, I really want to go away for college. I been living in New York City for 19 years and would like to see and experience something different. So I am also applying to USC, Cornell, Columbia, Standford, SUNY Albany,  and Syracuse.

Now that I have a final list of school is time to get started on those application and personal essay. Writing personal essay is a lot of pressure because I really want them the person reading my application to really get to know me. I also want them to like me and lastly accept me into their college. Luckly for me I have proffesor helping me and giving me feedback on my essay. Writing a personal essay take a lot of time and lots of draft. I edit all my personal essay about 10 times all ready and I still afraid to hit send. But those application due date are coming faster than I think so I have to take a deep breath and hit sent.
