As with everything at our new college, the Arts in NYC course is continuousy in flux as we work to create experiences that both match our student's interests, our faculty member's strengths, and the availability of partnerships and exhibitions in any given year.

Here you will find the syllabi that have been used when teaching the course. The 2013 syllabus is the what I followed my first year teaching. The 2014 with options was the reimagined course that allowed for opportunities with two new partnerships that have been formed at Guttman, our partnership with the Queens Museum and our partnership with the New Group Theatre. The Syllabus 2014 is what I used in my class the second year teaching.

Of course, every faculty member brings his/her own expertise and variations of the course. These syllabus are suggested models.
